May 2012
Alia, knowing she had to get something to eat, walked the sidewalks with a large coat and hat on tight. She couldn’t believe this…
Suddenly with black ears and a cat tail; How is that even possible. She just hoped she wouldn’t run into anyone; Not right now, when she was like this…
Victor nearly doesn’t recognize dressed up as she is. In fact, he might have walked right past her had he not walked into her instead. “Oh! Do excuse — Alia?” He blinks and crouches down, surprised to find her out of her alley. And in such strange clothes. “Hello there… .”
Alia squeaked as she bumped into victor, her hat being knocked to the ground. With her hat gone, it revealed two, black kitty ears. They folded back as she turned dark red, looking away form him in shame.
“H-hi, Big Brother…” she whispered.

W-wha-?!
*poof*
(( I don’t have two hours XD ))

Victor smiles a little and takes the treat. “Thank you.” He eats it quietly. “It is a good cookie.”
Alia crossed her arms, blushing a little,
“J-just a cookie…” she muttered, glancing over at him, if only for only a moment, “Can we at-at least… try not t-to totally hate each other..?”
“W-what’s moving?” Victor says, baffled. He doesn’t speak mumble. He pats her back reassuringly. “Don’t worry, I’m here. And so are the cats. You’re safe.” Poor thing — sick dreams are the worst ones.
Alia held onto him fearfully. In her eyes, things were moving. She felt tingly, like spiders were crawling over her. And that’s what did her in. She hated bugs, after what Drew had done to her with them. She let out a soft cry, shuddering as she got closer to him,
“N-no bugs…” she begged, “No buggies…”

Victor: … It’s the thought that counts?
She huffs,
“I… did save you a cookie though…”
She holds out the treat, looking away,
“B-because I tried to hurt you before… D-don’t think that means we’re friends th-though..!”
Victor gives it a light squeeze back. “Yes?” he asks quietly.
“Evewydin’s movin…” Alia whimpered, opening her eyes half way to look around the den.
In a way, she was awake, but then again, she was still sleeping. This is what you get from her being sick; Weird moments like this.
“Dun let nudden get me…”
This would be Dark!Alia trying to be nice to Victor:
So, I got you a cookie.
But I really like cookies.
But then I thought, sharing is caring.
But it’s my cookie!
So I ate the cookie.
Then, I got you a waffle.
But then I thought, ‘Dang, this waffle be lookin’ goood!’
So I ate the waffle.
Victor smiles and pats her. He gives her River for a moment to tide her over while he searches around for Jaguar. He also grabs an extra blanket from the soft place, to make sure she doesn’t get cold. He tucks her toy in with her and covers her up. “Sleep tight,” he murmurs.
Alia curls up with the tigers in her arms, pulling the blanket around her a bit more. Her hand laid on top of his and she instinctively grasped his, moaning faintly in her sleep,
“Big Brother…”
“Then go ahead and get some sleep,” Victor says, patting her head. “You probably need all you can get.”
He blushes, then frowns down at her. “W-well, I didn’t want to get all — um…” Just thinking about that blood puddle turns his stomach. “I take my coat off when I choose to take my coat off,” he settles on.
” ‘S okay…” Alia slurred, leaning against him, “Big Bwoda does wha ‘e wants…”
Then. she’s asleep in his arms, comforted greatly by the warmth of his body and the feeling of his arms around her. It makes her feel much more protected, like she would get better so much sooner. As she always did, she let out a soft whine for her tiger, squirming a bit in his grasp.
He’d appreciate most anything! He’d consider it enough enough for you to remember. As it is, he blushes and smiles a little shyly.
He nods, sighing. “I feel that way too sometimes,” he mumbles, pulling her close. “I hate it.” He feels like he should feel stronger for having gone through all this shit, not weaker. Alice is so strong, despite everything that’s happened — why can’t he be more like her?
Alia curls up in his grasp, closing her eyes as she yawned.
” ‘M tired…” she murmured, holding onto the front of his coat.
Deciding to tease him one more time, she whispered with a devilish grin,
“You said you wouldn’t want to take off your coat to show your shirt sleeves; You did when cleaning up. I think you look better with your coat off~!”
Yes, she woke up for a bit. Yes, she saw you with your coat off. Yes, she will never let you live this down, so long as you’re okay with doing it a bit more often.
(( I think I’m gonna make another character and hang out there for a bit. I’m still thinking about it. I’m kinda wondering how I’d do with a mute character and if anyone would be okay with him not being able to speak… ))
“Yes, well — I told you, I’m not good at this.”
“I’m twenty,” Victor tells her. “I turn twenty-one June 9th.” He looks out contemplatively across the alley. “Twenty-one,” he repeats. “Goodness. Sometimes I feel like I’ve lived a lot longer.” Looking down at her, he asks, “D-do you ever feel that way?” Maybe it’s not the most polite question, but…he wants to know.
“Ah, only two months! I’ll have to remember!” Alia said with a smile, wondering what to get him for his birthday.
She looked up at his question, then turned away.
“…”
What could she say..?
“I… S-sometimes I d-do, with my thoughts an-and feelings… but sometimes, I o-only feel smaller, m-more easy to-to break…”
But did she? She couldn’t tell. She didn’t know why, but it was just such a hard question to answer…
Victor laughs and pets Star. “Well, you’re going to be the crazy old lady who has at least twenty cats and is always putting out milk for more,” he jokes back. Though he knows that if Alice has her way, the same might be true of him and her. Not that he minds, he likes animals. They’re easier to understand than most people.
“Because I don’t already do that now?” Alia pointed out, gesturing to the rest of the den.
Forgetting manners and their teasing for a moment, she couldn’t help but to ask,
“How old are you anyway, cause I’m only twelve…”
Thank god curiosity didn’t kill this cat.

“Rich boy is far too used to being on this end,” Victor replies, sticking out his tongue at her. “And you’re crazy? No, no, I’m the crazy one.” Apparently Victor has decided to try for — self-deprecation one-upmanship? Victor you are WEIRD.
“Alright then, you’re gonna be the crazy old man that sits out on the porch with his five dogs.”
The cats purred laughter. Star jumped on Victor’s shoulder and mewed something at her tauntingly, making the others laugh again.
“Who’s side are you on?”
She curled her tail across the back of the young man’s neck, sitting on his shoulder, tall and proud.
